BIOGRAPHY
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Hunter’s own experiences with the criminal justice system inspired him to become an attorney. Hunter has seen first hand the differences in treatment that people receive in our criminal justice system based on economic status and societal standing. He became an attorney to give everyone the same level of attention and care they deserve, regardless of race, identity, or economic standing.
Hunter graduated from Faulkner University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Criminal Justice in 2017. In 2021, Hunter graduated from The University of Alabama, School of Law. At Alabama, Hunter was an editor for the Law and Psychology Review, and won a Best Paper Award for Criminal Procedure-Post Conviction. While in law school, Hunter worked for a Tuscaloosa defense firm for two years, in addition to volunteering with several nonprofit organizations focused on civil rights, veterans rights, and individuals with special needs.
